Detail of the Hawk Triumphant by ccs1989 Detail of the Hawk Triumphant by ccs1989
A detail of a larger piece commissioned by Minister Foss for the Hall of Honors in Falconia. The full piece depicts His Majesty standing triumphant over remnants of the Kushan host. This painting was completed by the workshop of Midlandian artist Gustav deSant and uses lapis lazuli harvested from the horn of a war demon to create the pigment for His Majesty's eyes.

About 2 hours, I discovered a new blending tool (one of the things I favorited recently explains it) so blending colors is now a lot easier. Then I added some filters to make it look a little more like something traditionally painted.
The first movie is coming out in January in Japan. The Golden Age is being split into 3 movies. They're gonna do the rest of the series too, but I dunno if it'll be in OVAs or what. Since it's requiring CG they're probably doing the part of the story that has the most widespread appeal first to train their CG guys and then use those assets to cut down on costs when they make the OVAs, at least that's my guess. The trailer is on www.berserkfilm.com
